Founded by three former educators in 2012, SchoolFurnishings began in a small garage in Portland. We were tired of seeing children hunched over rigid, uncomfortable chairs that were designed in the 1950s. Our mission was simple: reimagine the classroom as a space that inspires creativity, encourages collaboration, and supports every learner.
